The purpose of this article is to highlight the moderating effect of a central mechanism of governance, namely,\nthe ownership structure in the relationship between accounting conservatism and the enterprise�s performance using\na sample of French companies listed on the Paris stock exchange. Previous studies have investigated the impact of\ncorporate governance on the level of accounting conservatism. Our objective is to study the effect on the relationship\nbetween the level of accounting conservatism and performance of a central governance mechanism, namely, the\nownership structure. We examine the concentration effect of institutional, wage and property of such a mechanism\non the relationship between accounting conservatism and the accounting company�s performance which is measured\nby the return on equity in 60 French listed companies belonging to the SBF 120 index in all the period 2007-2012 of\nenterprises. This study arisen from the basic hypothesis that employees with high job satisfaction also have high organizational\ncommitment analyzed the importance of leadership behavior for institutions through different sub-dimensions. For\nthat purpose, while analyzing the effects of leadership behavior upon organizational commitment and job satisfaction,\neffects of commitment level upon employee satisfaction were also evaluated. Within the scope of the study, 234 valid\nquestionnaires were collected from different public institutions, and the data obtained from these questionnaires\nwere evaluated through multiple regression analyses. The analysis results indicated that leadership behaviors had a\nsignificant effect upon organizational commitment and job satisfaction; however, this effect was lower than expected.\nPracticing this research to the public sector where employees have been accepted as a mechanical factor of the state\nboth provided a contribution upon the relevant literature and offered important suggestions for the practitioners....
For entrepreneurs, financial adversity is one of the most dominant causes of stress. Such entrepreneurial\nadversity can, on the one hand, lead to successful coping or, on the other hand, to malad aptive coping,\nhelplessness, and desperation. In this study, author explores locus of control as psychological capital that\ncontributes to entrepreneurial resilience in the face of prolonged economic adversity. Findings from a sample of 135\nentrepreneurs show that entrepreneurial adversity is negatively associated with job satisfaction and self-reported\nhealth. Secondly, results reveal a significant moderating effect of locus of control on the adversity-well-being\nrelationship....

This study examined the linkages between entrepreurial outlook and business initiatives of restaurant operators. The\nfive multidimensional constructs of entrepreneurial orientation were adapted to measure the entrepreneurial outlook,\nwhile the business initiatives were measured based on the frequent development of new products, new services and\nnew business venturing.\nThe study employed census approach and self-administered questionnaires in collecting data from 41 registered\nrestaurant operators located in the Cape Coast Metropolis. Descriptive, correlation and Chi-Square were the statistical\ntools used. The findings indicate that the restaurant operators demonstrated a somewhat high entrepreneurial outlook.\nHowever, they do not develop business initiatives regularly. Again, significant association existed between the dimensions\nof entrepreneurial outlook and business initiatives. The study therefore concludes that a high entrepreneurial inclination\nwill propel the frequent development of business initiatives. The restaurant operators must therefore attend periodic\nworkshops to be abreast of current knowledge, they must be involved with every aspect of the restaurant business with\ncomplete professionalism. They must create an encouraging work environment, care for customers and must get to\nknow their regular customers by their names, favourite dishes and drinks....
